About Haifaa Younis
An American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. With her roots in Iraq, she founded the Jannah Institute, where she serves as chairman and resident scholar.
Dr. Younis is a resident scholar at the Islamic Center of Irvine, California. Her Islamic education includes graduating from the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies and Al-Huda Qur'an Memorization School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she notably completed the memorization of the Qur'an.
Currently based in the United States, Dr. Younis dedicates her time to teaching a range of Islamic studies courses, with a particular focus on the purification of the heart (Tazkiyah).
