The new, out-of-retirement principal, fresh off terrible standardized test scores, desperately tries everything to get the school off the state's watch list before things devolve into a chaotic money grab.
As always, it's a delightful mess of distractions and dead ends, but Kinney's brilliant writing and illustrations infuse the story with heart. You'll appreciate Greg's sharp observations about his school's transformation, especially as it faces the very real threat of closure.
